Free Legal Aid For All at District Level By District Legal Empowerment Committee (DLEC) & Pakistan Law and Justice Commission Pakistan (LJCP)
On the advice of chief justice of Pakistan Law and Justice Commission Pakistan has constituted free legal aid committees at district level. Remember that Chief Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan is also acting as chairman of LJCP. Now a person with limited financial resources who can not hire lawyer for his cases can contact District Legal Empowerment Committee (DLEC) for free legal aid.

Such persons can contact the office of district and session judge of their areas for free legal assistance in their family, criminal and civil cases. District and session judge will preside over the DLEC. DC, Superintendent jail, President district bar and civil society representatives will be the members of this committee.
